Man V. Machine
Hello!
We just finished our first unit, 2D, in our class, Rapid Prototyping. This class is about interacting with materials, making things, using machines, and doing things yourself. We learned about traversable and non-traversable networks, formulas to find the slope, the distance formula, different angles, complementary lines, supplementary lines, the degree of the vertices of shapes, types of triangles, quadrilaterals, and CNC cutters. For this class, we went on an FE (field experience) to a place called mHUB where we learned about manufacturing and making using many different types of CNC machines, control panel makers, 3D printers, and other machinery used to build. Building upon our FE we based our action project on comparing a poster made by hand and one done by a CNC machine known as the Silhouette Cameo Cutter. Here is the process of making the posters, and the comparison between the two!
