G - M - Over it

Hello and welcome to the last AP (Action Project) for my class Food and the last STEAM AP in my freshman year. In this class, we have been studying the past, present, and future of food. In this unit, titled Evolving, we have been learning about odds, percent change, Punnett squares, genes, the Green Revolution, and probability. We went on one FE to the Green City Market in Lincoln Park where we spoke to urban market farmers about their opinions on GMOs and got quotes from them.

For this AP we were asked to convince our rural Illinois community whether we should or should not use GMOs. This is a very current topic of controversy and it is important that we are informed and ready to make our own decisions on the topic.
