Live With Me, Carbon Free
Hello!
Welcome to the last AP (action Project) for my STEAM class, Fuel. In this class, we are studying the past, present, and future of fuel and the Earth's resources. In this unit, Future, I have become acquainted with balancing chemical equations, inequalities, reactants and products, lab reports, and the difference between endothermic and exothermic reactions. In this unit, we went a guest come to talk to us about fuel. Her name is Christa from Nicor Gas, she showed us a presentation on where and how fuel gets to us and had many insightful things about fuel that we didn't know!
For this AP we were to make an action plan essay on how to reduce our carbon footprint. We gave our own personal information of our carbon footprint, gave solutions from the book Raising Elijah, and our own researched solutions. We did this because we want to be a change in this world, and to make a change you have to know what you want to change. Enjoy!
The most difficult part of this AP was finding all of the numbers to correspond with my solutions, and since sometimes I couldn't find exact numbers I had to reason it out and give an approximation. Through the struggle to find information and the insanity of all of the calculations I am really proud of this essay because I think that it really puts everything into perspective and I talked about solutions that are mostly not talked about!
