Childhood's Vulnerability
Hello and welcome to my class, Ollywood. In this unit, we learned about the preproduction of films. Which includes production design, writing screenplays, and scouting along with many other things. We went on an FE down Wacker Drive as scouts having to take photographs of things that would make a good scene for a movie. For our AP we had to choose a film to and criticize its film production.
I chose Boyhood, an intriguing feature that was filmed over twelve years. The film is about Mason Evans Jr. going through his childhood and teen years into adulthood. To sum up the lesson of the movie "...The natural phenomenon of the universe is so mind-blowing, but you have to know about it. You have to be curious. You’ve got to find it on your own. If you’re lucky, you do."- Richar Linklater (the director of the film.)
